Steve Gyory leads activities of business development, company expansion, operations management and talent acquisition. A member of the senior management leadership team, Steve helps shape the direction of the company. Steve joined eKidzCare in April 2013 and has been in the Executive Vice President role since his hire.
Steve has worked in home health his entire career. He worked with Maxim Healthcare Services for 8+ years holding positions of Recruiter, General Manager, and Administrator. During this time he was a 6-time contest winner, Northeast office of the year and expanded operations into three new opportunities. Next he worked with Epic Health Services as a Business Development Director. The goal was to grow through acquisition and focused on M&A analysis, research of home health markets and financial analysis.
Steve holds an undergraduate degree in Business Management and Statistical Analysis from Penn State University. He resides in Pittsburgh, PA where he has lived since 2003. Steve’s favorite place to be is on the golf course but also enjoys Pittsburgh sports, travel, architecture and his Great Dane Henry.
Sue is the Chief Financial Officer of the Company and has been a member of senior management with eKidzCare since its inception back in 2010. Sue is responsible for all the financial planning and record-keeping of the company along with overseeing the Human Resource Dept and overall operations of the Company. Sue has been in the healthcare industry for over 10 years and has been a Certified Public Accountant for over 20 years.
Sue is married with one son and two stepchildren and resides in the Wexford area.
Ben Kondor manages the business operations of the Sewickley office. Ben joined eKidz in June of 2013 and assumed the role of Administrator in the spring of 2014. As Administrator, Ben oversees the day to day activities of the office including staff development, accounts receivables, contracting and insurance authorizations.
Ben has worked in home health for 8+ years dealing in pediatric, adult and geriatric care. He started his career with Maxim Healthcare Services 2006 and in 2009 successfully opened a personal care focused office in the Pittsburgh market. Following his time with Maxim, Ben was instrumental in the success of newly acquired, Advanced Personal Care, a Medicare visit company in Pittsburgh’s South Hills.
Originally from New Florence, PA, Ben holds a degree in Business Management from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He now resides in Mount Washington.
Jennie is currently working on her fourth year with eKidzCare as the Director for the Meadville office. With over 10 years of experience in pediatric home health, she started her career as a field nurse before obtaining her Master’s degree in Health Care and accepting a leadership role. The best part of her job is the relationships she has developed with our families and staff.
Rhonda Gengler is the Clinical Director for the Sewickley branch of eKidzCare. Rhonda received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from La Roche University. Rhonda has over 22 yrs of experience from Children Hospital of Pittsburgh’s Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. In addition to Rhonda’s clinical experience, she has had several administrative positions in Pediatric Home Care, Rehab/Skilled Nursing, and Acute Care facilities. Rhonda enjoys educating nursing staff and families to ensure the highest quality of care is provided to meet the needs of our patients. She is an advocate for both families and nurses and is passionate about helping the patients and families live their lives to the fullest in their homes and communities. Rhonda enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
Shelly Hutchison, RN, has over 15 years of experience as a Neonatal Intensive Care nurse. She joined eKidzCare in 2014 as their Clinical Nurse Liaison. Shelly enjoys being out in the community, educating parents and physician’s offices about all of the wonderful services eKidzCare has to offer. She takes pride in knowing her team at eKidz strives at providing the highest quality nursing care. Shelly is passionate about helping children and their families live their lives to the fullest.
In her spare time, Shelly loves volunteering at facilities and non-profit organizations associated with children with special needs. Among them are Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, Ronald McDonald House Charities, Miracle League of Southwestern PA, The Woodlands and of course Reagan’s Journey.
