eKidzCare is looking for a talented Accounting Manager to work in our corporate office located in Sewickley, PA. This position will be involved in all aspects of financial management for a home health care services company operating in 15 locations across multiple states. Extensive experience working in payroll, accounts receivable, budgeting, and financial reporting.

Accounting Manager Responsibilities

  • Corporate accounting
  • Regulatory and financial reporting
  • Budget and forecasts preparation
  • Insurance premium renewals
  • Audits
  • Claims submissions
  • Collections
  • Payroll
  • Supporting  internal control policies and procedures
  • This individual will also be involved in the accounting operations of the company including the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

  • BA/BS required
  • 5 years accounting experience in a senior accounting or financial management role
  • Healthcare experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Highly skilled in Excel
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Ability to work closely with a senior management team and various outside vendors including but not limited to insurance brokers and CPA
  • Documented satisfactory references from employers and/or professional peers
  • All other requirements regarding Background Screening, References, Verification, etc. as described in the ePeople “Hiring Policy and Procedure”
