Description

eKidzCare is looking for an experienced Per Diem Back-Up Registered Nurse for our Wilkes-Barre location.

  • eKidzCare RN Onboarding (1-2 days) (additional training PRN)
  • Participation in a monthly meeting (1hr~)

Ideal Candidates will be expected to:

  • Monitor all aspects of a patient’s care
  • Consult and coordinate with health care team members to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
  • Prepare and assist with examinations and treatments for patients
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and measure the patient’s condition
  • Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records

Requirements:

  • Current credentials as a Registered Nurse
  • Valid AHA-BLS CPR course completion (CPR training is available, if needed)
  • FBI, State, and Childline Clearances (provided by eKidzCare, if needed)
  • Recent Two-Step Tuberculosis or Chest X-Ray
  • Reliable Transportation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year of home care experience, preferred
  • One to two years pediatric experience, preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Good employee and customer relation skills (internal and external customers)
  • Ability, flexibility and willingness to learn and grow as the company expands and changes
  • Computer and technological aptitude in regards to new modalities for patient care/documentation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, organized work habits, and detail-orientation
  • Ability to multi-task. Able to prioritize, plan, organize, evaluate, manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of governmental rules and regulations as they pertain to home health care services
  • Desire to lead by example, modeling mission and standards of company, while conducting all business activities in a professional and ethical manner
  • Documented satisfactory references from employers and/or - professional peers

*All other requirements regarding Background Screening, References, Verification, etc. as described in the ePeople “Hiring - Policy and Procedure”. Additionally, Child Line Clearances and - FBI fingerprinting per company policy – in accordance with section 6344 of the CPSL.
