The giving spirit is alive at eKidzCare and some of our children in Wilkes-Barre are receiving it in the form of gifts. Last week, the Wilkes-Barre office received 12 bicycles for our local eKidzCare children. This gracious donation was made possible by Wilkes-Barre HR Coordinator, Kynia, who was contacted by Sergeant George Carabello, a local Marine Corp. Recruiter, who previously mentored and enlisted Kynia’s son. Knowing Kynia works with eKidzCare, Sergeant Carabello contacted Kynia to see if there were any children in the community that would benefit from having a bike for the holidays. Kynia happily accepted the opportunity and coordinated the gifts.
The bikes were provided by Amy Rush Yuhas, along with her family, who had donated the bikes to a Toys for Tots Run organized by the local Marine Corps Recruiting Station. This act of kindness resulted in 12 bikes being donated for kids in the Wilkes-Barre office.
Way to go Kynia — you not only assisted our marvelous eKidzCare children, but the community as well!
