Jennie joined eKidzCare in 2011, during the early stages of growth as the director of the Meadville location. After a promotion to Director of Compliance, she participated in the successful development of additional locations for eKidzCare. In recent years, Jennie transitioned into the Vice President role, where she continued to actively participate in the growth of eKidzCare. In Spring 2021, Jennie became the Chief Operating Officer and earned her Doctorate of Public Health with a specialty in Health Advocacy and Leadership. She has over 20 years of health care experience, with 17 years specifically in pediatrics. Her diverse experience and education give her the ability to help lead the future of the organization with knowledge and confidence in both our team and clients.

I started working with eKidzCare in 2011 as a private duty nurse providing hourly shift care to a couple of our wonderful patients. I am extremely happy to say that those patients are still with us today! In 2012, I was offered an internal position with the company as an RN Supervisor. I was nervous about making a change and leaving the hospital as a bedside nurse, but something about eKidzCare and our pediatric patients drew me in, and I had to see where this new adventure would take me. Throughout the years, I have had the opportunity to continue to grow professionally with the company and have held various positions, including Clinical Director, Administrator, and Regional Clinical Director. I have also seen a great amount of support from the company while I progressed through my schooling for first my BSN and then while obtaining my MSN with a focus on Administration and Leadership.

At eKidzCare, I identify and recommend growth initiatives focused on optimizing the company’s business model. This includes directions and support for location managers relating to customer service and the development of marketing plans. I support and mentor location managers with building and establishing connections and relationships with key referral sources while providing oversight and managing referral activity within locations. I assist in recruiting, hiring, supervising, coaching, and developing location managers. In my role, I also conduct annual performance evaluations, implement performance improvement plans, and provide corrective action.
