Promoting from Within: Meet Our New VP
eKidzCare values our employees, and when positions become available, we prefer to promote from within. In the new year, we’ve seen many internal promotions and want to celebrate these integral members of the eKidzCare team. During the month of January, we’ll feature our internal promotions to celebrate our colleagues in their success.
We are thrilled to announce the promotion of Jennifer Woodcook, MSN, RN, to Vice President of Operations for eKidzCare. Jennifer has proven to be an example of the company’s mission, values, and standards.
In her new role, Jennifer will serve as a key leadership team member, working closely with our operational leaders and centralized department, acting as a liaison to the Chief Operating Officer and executive team.
When asked about her new role with eKidzCare, Jennifer said, “I am excited to be a part of the integration of a new care model that will ensure the highest level of quality care being provided and will also shape the future of how we provide Care Coordination to our patients and their families!”
Jennifer’s employment with the company has been a long road traveled, ten years to be exact. Her journey with eKidzCare began in 2012 as an external nurse before becoming a nursing supervisor. Before too long, Jennifer was promoted to Clinical Director for our Pittsburgh location before joining the leadership team as Regional Clinical Director. Therefore, it makes sense for us to take advantage of her years of experience and knowledge within the pediatric home health arena. In addition, we appreciate Jennifer’s ability to be a role model and extra layer of support when needed most for those she crosses paths with both clinical and operational staff. “eKidzCare is not just my employer, they have also become an extension of my family,” said Jennifer.
